WhatsApp has been updated recently and got some new features as given in the official changelog below. Well, another extremely minor update has been pushed out today that takes up the version number to 2.12.465 with build number 450935. The new WhatsApp APK download file is 26.78 MB large and supports Android 2.1 and later.
Here’s the latest official changelog picked up from the Play Store:
• Over 100 new emoji
• Google Drive Backup: Back up your chats and media to Google Drive, so if you lose your phone or switch or upgrade to a new Android phone, you can easily restore your chats and media. Set up backups in Settings > Chats and Calls > Chat backup.
• Language support for Kazakh, Tagalog, Uzbek, Marathi, and Malayalam
• Now compatible with Android 6.0 permissions
As you can notice in the latest WhatsApp APK changelog, the app now supports some new languages including Malayalam, Marathi, Uzbek, Tagalog, and Kazakh. It feels good to know that the developers keep adding new languages so that the app is not bound by only a few languages and anyone can use it even in their native language.
Other than that, you can see that app supports Google Drive Backup and is compatible with the new app permissions in Android Marshmallow. There are new emojis as well. The new WhatsApp APK download does not bring any other features, but these are significant additions and are worth updating the app for.
You can download WhatsApp 2.12.465 APK from APK.co or APKreleases.com.
