Indian smartphone manufacturer Xolo has launched its latest budget 4G enabled smartphone in the Era series. The device has been dubbed as Era 4K.

The Era 4K has a 720p 5-inch display with Gorilla Glass 3 on top for protection. The device is powered by a quad-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6735P processor clocked at 1 GHz with Mali-T720 GPU. The device will run on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS out of the box. The device has 2GB DDR3 RAM and an internal memory of 8GB which can be expanded up to 32GB with microSD.

Era 4K

At the camera front, the device has an 8 MP rear shooter with dual LED Flash. The lens has a f/2.0 aperture and has OmniVision sensor and 5P Largan Lens. On the front, there is a 5MP front-facing camera with OmniVision PureCel Sensor and an aperture of f/2.2.

The device has dual-SIM functionality and has 4G LTE connectivity with support for 2300MHz TDD-LTE (band 40) and 1800MHz FDD-LTE (band 3). Among other standard connectivity options, it has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

The dimensions of the device are 143×71.8×9.2mm and it weighs 157g. It packs a battery of 4000mAh and is expected to give about 32 hours of talk time and about 624 hours of standby time.

The Xolo Era 4K will come in White and Dark Blue colour variants. The device has been priced at Rs. 6,499 and would be available only through a flash sale on Gadgets360 starting from 22nd February.
