In case you own the Samsung Z1 smartphone running on Tizen OS, there’s a news for you. The company has started the roll-out for the Samsung Z1 Tizen 2.4 update (Z130HDDU0CPB1). The update has been rolled out currently to the Indian users only.
The Tizen 2.4 update is around 262MB large (~17MB for Tizen 2.4 Beta users) and comes with a lot of new features. The update brings Ultra Data Saving Mode, WhatsApp Calling, and more to the Samsung Z1. Apart from this, you can now create memos that can be protected with passwords. Additionally, some changes and tweaks have been done to many existing apps in the phone, like the Message, Camera, Smart Manager, Music Player, Video Recorder, and Settings.
The Tizen 2.4 OTA update for Samsung Z1 is rolling out now, and if you own the Z1, you will get the update notification shortly. In case you are finding it difficult to wait for the notification, you can check for the update manually by going to the Software Update section in the Settings app of your phone. For Samsung Z1 users in other countries like Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bangladesh, the Tizen 2.4 update will expectedly be rolled out next week.
