LeEco (formerly LeTV) today introduced the high-end Le Max and budget-friendly Le 1s smartphones in the Indian marketplace. Priced at Rs. 10,999 ($161), the Le 1s will be available on Flipkart via Flash sale mode starting February 2nd. The high-end Le Max will cost Rs. 32,999 for the 64GB storage model, but the availability date is not revealed yet.
Le Max
Specs-wise, the Le Max features a 6.33-inch Quad HD screen and is powered by the powerful Snapdragon 810 chipset. To store the data, it gets 64/128GB built-in memory along with 4GB of RAM. Wearing a metal body, it boasts a fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C, and LTE support.
Camera section includes just a 13-megapixel primary camera which has become a common spec even in budget devices. On the front-side, it features a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video chats. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box, the Le Max gets power from a 3,400mAh battery which comes with quick charge support.
Le 1s
The budget-friendly smartphone from LeEco, the Le 1s, features a 5.5-inch FullHD display, and is powered by the MediaTek Helio X10 SoC. It gets a similar 13MP/5MP camera setup as found in the Le Max. Other features include 3GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage, LTE, fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C connector, and a 3,000mAh battery with quick-charge support.
