The Chinese startup Coolpad has announced another budget flagship smartphone in India, the Coolpad Note 3 Lite. The smartphone is the Lite variant of last year’s Note 3, and will be available exclusively on Amazon via flash sale mode. Priced at Rs. 6,999, the handset is undoubtedly a strong competitor for other smartphones available in this price range. The main highlights of the device are 3GB of DDR 3 RAM and a fingerprint scanner.
In terms of specs, the Coolpad Note 3 Lite features a 5-inch screen with 720p display resolution, and is powered by the MediaTek MT6735 chipset with a quad-core 1.3GHz processor, coupled with massive 3GB of DDR3 RAM. It gets 16GB inbuilt memory space which can be expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card. Photography loves get a 13-megapixel back camera with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie shooter.
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box, the Coolpad Note 3 Lite supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Micro-USB (with OTG), and all other standard connectivity features. A 2,500mAh battery powers the handset with up to 10 hours of talk-time and up to 200 hours of standby time.
If you are impressed by the powerful specs of the Coolpad Note 3 Lite, the phone is open for registrations at Amazon India and will be available for purchase starting January 28.
