The Huawei MediaPad M2 has been unveiled, and going by the features, the tablet is all set to offer a solid audio performance. The tablet comes with a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 dispaly with a 16:10 aspect ratio, automatic mode switching, and 226ppi pixel density.

The highlight of the MediaPad M2 is the four speakers setup by Harmon/Kardon. Treble is handled by the top two speakers, while the bottom two speakers add a bit of bass, courtesy of the intelligent resonance chamber design. Huawei has also thrown in the Clari-Fi audio up-sampling technology in the tablet.

The Huawei MediaPad M2 gets a physical home button too, which also doubles up as a fingerprint sensor. The tablet flaunts a 13MP/5MP camera combo, and comes in 2GB RAM/16GB storage and 3GB RAM/64GB storage versions. A microSD card is available too. Both the variants are available in Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + LTE options.

The high-end model also comes with a stylus, called the M-Pen. We don’t know whether its a passive accessory or gets a power source of its own. Though Huawei said that the M-Pen offers a pen-like experience when writing with it, and it supports 2048 pressure points.

The Huawei MediaPad M2 costs $349 and $399 for the 16GB Wi-Fi and 16GB LTE variant respectively. You will have to shell out $419 and $469 respectively for the 64GB Wi-Fi and 64GB LTE versions. Though the launch date hasn’t been revealed, but the tablet will first reach major markets like India, UK, China, US, etc.
