Alcatel has put on display five new devices at the CES 2016. Of the five, two are smartphones, one is a phablet, and the rest two are tablets. The phones are being showcased in Las Vegas at the CES.
The Alcatel Pixi 3 is an 8-inch tablet that runs Windows 10 Mobile. It features a 1280 x 800 pixels IPS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor coupled with Adreno 304 GPU. It gets 1GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage. The tablet gets SIM slots and supports 4G LTE. Rest of the details include a 5MP/2MP camera combo and a 4,060 mAh battery.
Talking about the Alcatel Pixi 4 (3.5), it is the smallest phone in the Pixi 4 lineup. Featuring a 3.5-inch HVGA screen, the phone is powered by a 1.1GHz dual-core MT6572M processor, coupled with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal expandable memory. It gets a 2MP/0.3MP camera combo and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The Alcatel Pixi 4 (4) gets a 4-inch WVGA screen and is powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz MT6580 CPU. It features 512MB/1GB RAM and 4GB/8GB onboard expandable storage. It features a 2MP/5MP rear and a 0.3MP/2MP front camera depending on the variant. This phone gets Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed.
Let’s talk about the biggest phone in the Pixi 4 series. The Alcatel Pixi 4 (6) sports a 6-inch HD IPS screen and gets a Snapdragon 210 quad-core 1.1GHz CPU under its hood. Coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage, the phone flaunts an 8MP/5MP camera combo. The phone offers LTE connectivity, is juiced by a 2,580 mAh battery, and runs Marshmallow out of the box.
The last in the series, the Alcatel Pixi 4 (7), is a tablet with a 7-inch 1024 x 600 display. A 1.1GHz quad-core MT8321 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable memory keeps the slate running. The tab supports 3G and gets a 2,580 mAh battery. It runs Marshmallow out of the box and also features a 2MP/0.3MP camera setup.
Alcatel has also introduced a watch, called the Alcatel CareTime Children’s Watch. This little gadget gets a tiny 0.95″ OLED screen and offers GPS tracking. Kids can also send messages or make calls to some predefined contacts.
