Motorola has released some great smartphones this year, the most value-for-money phones among them being the Moto X Style and the Moto X Play. These phones pack all the high-end features that you could expect from a flagship phone. Well, this has posed a problem for Motorola. What will it surprise its buyers with in the next-gen Motorola Moto X?

Yes, the Motorola Moto X (4th Gen) is already under development, and a new leaked image tells us some interesting things about the phone. Among all the high-end features that the phone will pack, the most notable one will be a heat pipe, which will be employed under the hood to keep the chipset from overheating.

Before you think that this is something new, Sony Xperia Z5 Premium and Microsoft Lumia 950 XL already have a similar cooling technology. But these aforementioned phones came with the Snapdragon 810 chipset that is known to be notorious for overheating issues. But the next Moto X (4th Gen) flagship will most probably get the latest Snapdragon 820 SoC, which won’t be having any such heating issues. Yet it looks like Motorola hust wants to play safe.

The leaked image also shows us the inner side of the phone. The fourth-generation Motorola Moto X will apparently get a metal unibody. This new image goes well with the previously leaked render of the Moto X (4th Gen), as the speaker and camera meshes seem to be in the exact same position.

But keeping all that aside, the next Motorola Moto X (2016) is still a lot of months away, and it is highly possible that many changes to the internals or to the body of the phone might take place.
