Since iOS 9 was released a couple of months ago, the firmware has been updated several times. Apple recently released the public version of iOS 9.2 to its users more than a week ago. And keeping up to its habit of developing iOS continuously, Apple has finally seeded iOS 9.2.1 beta 1 for testing.
Apple had made the first iOS 9.2.1 beta available to the developers yesterday via its Developer Program. And today, the company released the iOS 9.2.1 Public beta 1 to its Public Beta Program.
iOS 9.2 was a major update after iOS 9.1, but iOS 9.2.1 seems like a smaller update owing to the “.1” increase in the version. No significant changes can be noticed in the new beta, which suggests that Apple has concentrated on fixing bugs and improving overall performance under the hood.
If you are a developer and are a member of the Developer Program (which by the way costs $99/year), you can get the beta from there. Or you can download the iOS 9.2.1 beta 1 for free from the Public Beta Program.
