Recently rolling out the One A9, HTC will soon be announcing it next flagship rumored to be named HTC Perfume. A leakster with twitter handle @LlabTooFeR, claimed that the previously rumored HTC O2 is no longer a reality and that the next flagship is the HTC Perfume.
There aren’t much details available at the moment but the most significant one is that the HTC Perfume will come with Sense v8.0. For those who don’t know about Sense, its HTC’s Android based custom UI and the v8.0 will be backed with Android 6.1 OS out-of-the-box.
Looking back at the rumors spreading during August about the HTC O2, the device was going to be fitted with Snapdragon 820 SoC and a 6.0-inch QHD display. It was also believed to carry 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage configurations. Further the rumored specs sheet also mentioned a 3,500mAh battery powering the device.

Although the above mentioned leakster claims the O2 to be dead, there’s much possibility of change of nomenclature by HTC to avoid further leaks. The rumors are too raw to be relied upon seeing the recent releases of HTC and fans need to be patient for rigid specs to be announced by the Chinese manufacturer.
