It hasn’t been more than a couple of months since Apple launched the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. However, the rumors and speculations regarding the next iPhone, most probably the iPhone 7, have already started building up.
Research company TrendForce has published a report about the next year’s iPhone, in which it is claimed that the iPhone 7 will come with 3GB of RAM and will be waterproof. A more educated guess says that only the bigger iPhone 7 Plus will get the increase in memory, while waterproofing should be available on both the models. It seems like Apple finally wants to waterproof its iPhones just like Sony does to its Xperia line-up.
The report also says that a new 4-inch iPhone (probably the iPhone 6c) will be launched in Q2 of 2016, while the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will be unveiled during the second half like always. According to an estimate made by TrendForce, the Cupertino company will be selling 12.5% more iPhones in 2016 than it did this year.
