The leading Chinese phone maker, Elephone, is growing rapidly in the smartphone industry, thanks to its high-end smartphones in an affordable price category. After huge success of Elephone P8000 and P6000 Pro, the company has now announced the Elephone Vowney and Vowney Lite. The phones were expected to hit markets a long time ago, however, the company delayed the release due to unavoidable circumstances. But the phone is now available for pre-order through Chinese online retailer, Everbuying.
The retailer has listed both the Vowney smartphones for pre-purchase with an expected shipping date on November 30th. The Elephone Vowney retails at $299.99, while the Lite variant will set you back $239.99.
For those who are not aware of the specifications, the Elephone Vowney sports a 5.5-inch display with 2K resolution and a 4GB of RAM along with 32GB built-in storage. While the Vowney Lite comes with an equal display size but with Full HD (1080p) resolution, 3GB of RAM and 16GB onboard storage. Both the smartphones run Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
In the camera department, the Vowney phones get a 21-megapixel primary shooter along with an 8-megapixel front-facing snapper for selfie obsessed generation. Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio X10 chipset with an octa-core processor. Powering by a 4,000mAh battery, the handset includes 4G LTE, dual SIM, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, OTG, GPS, and NFC connectivity.
