Lenovo has launched a new smartphone, dubbed Lenovo A1000, in the Indian marketplace. Priced at Rs. 4,999, the budget phone will be available for purchase through all major online and offline retailers starting next week.
Equipped with a 4-inch WVGA (800×480 pixel) display, the new phone features 1 gig of RAM along with 8GB of expandable storage (up to 32GB). Powering the device is a 2,050 mAh battery. Under the hood, it has a Spreadtrun SC7731 chipset with a quad-core 1.3GHz processor and Mali-400 GPU.
The camera department gets a 5-megapixel rear unit with LED flash and a front VGA snapper for selfie lovers. As far as connectivity is concerned, the Lenovo A1000 features several connectivity options including dual-SIM, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and FM Radio.
Running Android 5.0 Lollipop, the Lenovo A1000 measures 64 × 124.5 × 10.6 mm and weighs 132 gms. It comes in Onyx Black and Pearl White color options.
Apart from this, Lenovo may also launch the Vibe P1 and the Vibe P1m in India on October 21.
