The delivery of the Meizu PRO 5 and MX5 shall be delayed due to unavoidable circumstances at the Meizu factory as reported by Mobile-Dad. This comes as a harrowing incident for all customers. The device was open for pre-orders till mid-October but the shipment could well extend till November. The unfortunate flooding at the Guangdong factory, due to a heavy storm has caused collateral damage and delayed deliveries. But the company is in full throttle to carry out a quicker delivery.
These were the flagship devices from Meizu and were indeed the most powerful till date. It could be a healthy competition for any smartphone of the world. The PRO 5 was available for pre-orders in two variants, one being 3GB of RAM/32 GB hard-disk drive and the second being 4GB of RAM/64 GB hard-disk drive. The cheaper model is available for 2,800 Yuan ($439) in China whereas the higher version goes at 3,100 Yuan ($490). In comparison to the features, it is quite well-priced.
Meizu Pro 5 Specification
The Meizu PRO 5 has a 5.7-inch 1080p (1920×1080) super AMOLED 2.5D curved display alongside Corning Gorilla Glass as a protection gear. It gets powered by Samsung’s Exynos 7420 64-bit octa-core processor, and a Mali T760 GPU for graphics. The battery size is of 3,050 mAh and the gadget is made of pure metal.
When it comes to the camera, the main camera is of 21-megapixels enclosing Sony’s IMX230 sensor with the front camera at 5-megapixels having the OmniVision’s OV5670 sensor. The phone comes with Android Lollipop pre-installed, along with Meizu’s Flyme OS. There is an option for 4G connectivity and the phone comes in a number of color variants.
