Samsung’s A series is a nice line of mid-range smartphones, with a beautiful design and solid hardware. So far, Samsung has launched 4 smartphones from this line: Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5, Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A8. These devices have had a very good reception in different markets and now Samsung is planning to add a new member to this line, upgraded versions of the existing devices and new accessories for them. According to internal sources to Samsung-specialized website SamMobile, the new member of A-series is will be the Galaxy A9.
In case you don’t know much about these devices, Galaxy A3 is the smallest in the series, with a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display, a quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 SoC with 1.5 GB of RAM and an 8 MP rear camera. In the other hand, Galaxy A5 offers a bigger screen of 5-inch, same chipset, 2 GB of RAM and a 13 MP rear-camera. Meanwhile, Galaxy A7 offers better specs with a more powerful Snapdragon 615 octa-core chipset and a 5.5-inch high resolution display. Galaxy A8 is the thinnest Samsung smartphone with 5.9 mm metallic body. It features fingerprint scanner, a 16 MP rear-camera, and 32GB of internal storage. The upcoming devices by Samsung are similar to the current ones, so there will be only a few upgrades and not big changes, although Samsung didn’t come up with any additional information.
Samsung Galaxy A8 has been released in August, about 5 months after the Galaxy A7. Therefore, we can expect the Galaxy A9 to come out in a few months or early in 2016.
