HTC’s new mid-range hero, the One A9, has been the centre of rumors and leaks for quite some time now. However, the recent leak confirms the colour scheme and what the smartphone will look like. Have a look at the leaked images. What does it remind you of? iPhone?. Not really. HTC is following their own One-series design, but this time it is slightly flat on the back. Also, we can say that the iPhone 6 slightly resembles HTC’s One-series devices.
There have been plenty of rumors about HTC’s forthcoming device, though we are still not sure when it will really hit the stores. Initially it was reported that phone is set to launch on September 29th, and then another source claims that it is not going to happen. The phone is now expected to see the light of day sometime around in October.
Cher Wang, CEO and chairwoman at HTC, disclosed to the workers and investors that a new “hero product” will be released in the smartphone section this October. Though she did not expressly refer to or name the Aero during her statement, but it was not difficult to join the dots after Evan Blass leaked the timeframe of the HTC Aero.
Earlier it was expected that HTC One A9 (Aero) is a flagship phone, but recently it was reported that the device is another mid-ranger from the company. Equipped with a 5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, the phone processes the tasks with a Snapdragon 617 chipset and 2GB of RAM. Other features include a 16GB of expandable storage, 13-megapixel snapper with OIS support, fingerprint scanner, and a 2150mAh battery. Android 6.0 Marshmallow is expected out-of-the-box.
