Lenovo silently unveiled the A7000 Plus phablet, which will soon be offered in Philippines for Php7,499 (US$171) starting September 15. The A7000 Plus is an upgraded variant of the Lenovo A7000 that debuted back in April.

With updated innards in comparison to its forerunner, the Lenovo A7000 Plus comes with a 5.5-inch 1080 x 1920 pixels display (the A7000 came with a 5.5-inch screen with 720 x 1280 pixels). It is powered by an octa-core 1.7GHz MediaTek (MT6752) processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM.

lenovo a7000 plus, price, launch, specsThe inbuilt storage of the A7000 Plus has been doubled to 16GB. It also supports expandable storage via microSD card. While the A7000 offers an 8MP rear camera, the Plus version has comes with an upgrade to a 13-megapixel unit, while the front camera remains 5MP. A 3,000 mAh battery fuels the smartphone.

The Lenovo A7000 Plus includes 4G LTE (FDD Band 1, 3, 7, 20; TDD Band 40), dual-SIM support, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Micro-USB. It measures 152.6 x 76.2 x 7.99 mm and weighs 140g.

With the slight changes that have been introduced, the Lenovo A7000 Plus certainly is a better version of its predecessor.
