According to our sources, Samsung may soon come up with two devices being dubbed as of now as Galaxy Grand On and Galaxy Mega On. This has been a new nomenclature being setup by the Korean manufacturer. Both these handsets may be part of the upcoming Galaxy O series considering the “On” word being used in the names.
Samsung Galaxy Mega On and Grand On are presumed to be devices for people who looking for budget devices. Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop, the Samsung Galaxy Mega On will features a 5.5-inch screen with 720p resolution. Powered by quad-core SD410 processor it has a 13MP rear snapper and a 5MP selfie camera. It houses a 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard memory which can be expanded through microSD card and weighs 145 grams. Mega On is christened with a model number of SM-G600 and will be kept running through a decent 3,000mAh battery. The device will have measurements of 151.8×77.5×8.2mm.
The other device dubbed as Galaxy Grand On will have a model number of SM-G550. This phone should also have a 5-inch screen with 720p resolution with a quad-core 1.3GHz Exynos 3475 processor. It will adorn an 8MP rear snapper with a 5MP selfie camera and houses a 1GB of RAM with 8GB onboard memory expandable through microSD card. The engine of the device will be kept running with a 2,600mAh battery.
According to the earlier reports SM-G550 is dubbed as Galaxy O5 and SM-G600 as O7. Now with the cropping up of new names it has created a hazy situation which will be cleared only when this is officially confirmed. Therefore, we advice our readers to take this information with a pinch of salt.
