Micromax has released two new smartphones in its ‘Canvas Selfie‘ series, named Canvas Selfie 2 (Q340) and Canvas Selfie 3 (Q348). While the company hasn’t mentioned the cost of the Selfie 3, which is expected to attain the ledges by the end of August, the Canvas Selfie 2 could be accessible online beginning at price tag of Rs. 5,999.
The Android 5.0 Lollipop running Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 sports a 5-inch FWVGA IPS screen (480×854 pixels), and comes with 8GB of onboard memory with expandable support. The company has not confirmed that how much storage a user can enlarge with the miroSD card. It features a 5-megapixel autofocus camera that is backed with 4P Largan Lens OV5648 sensor, and an LED flash. On the front, there is another 5-megapixel camera with OV5670 sensor and 4P lens. A 2000mAh battery lights on the handset. Under the hood, there is a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 1 gig of RAM.
The Micromax Canvas Selfie 3 is built around 4.8-inch High Definition (720×1280 pixels) AMOLED IPS screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone carries out the assigned tasks with the help of quad-core 1.3GHz CPU, paired with 1GB of DDR2 RAM. Though, Micromax hasn’t mention the Android edition for this phone, it should run Android 5.1 considering the Android 5.0 on Selfie 2.
The smartphone comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (unspecified limitation). The Canvas Selfie 3 features an 8-megapixel autofocus back camera with 5P Largan Lens and Blue Glasses, and an LED flash. There’s an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter as well, with an LED flash. The front-facing camera is effective at shooting 78-degree wide angled selfie pictures. The camera also includes features as Gesture shot, Panorama, Face beauty, Night shot and one key shot. A 2,300mAh battery keeps the phone live.
Micromax is also giving a Bluetooth supported selfie stick with the Selfie 3 smartphone. It will be obtainable in Blue, Green, Purple, Sky Blue and Yellow colour variations.
