The Indian marketplace has received a new smartphone made by Phicomm. Dubbed Phicomm Energy 653, the phone offers quite impressive specifications considering its low price tag of Rs. 4,999.
Specs-wise, the Phicomm Energy 653 sports a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) processor with Adreno 304 GPU. It packs 1 gig of RAM, and 8GB of onboard storage, which is further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. The phone lights on with a 2,300mAh battery.
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop Operating System, the Phicomm Energy 653 comes with an 8 megapixel primary snapper with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. On the front, a 2 megapixel selfie shooter works out to be a good placement. In connectivity department, the new handset comes provides 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
