HTC has not yet announced Desire 728, which was found on TENAA listing last month, and now found to be working on another Desire-series smartphone at the same source. Dubbed HTC D828w (possibly Desire 828) has just passed the Chinese Telecom regulatory (TENAA) formalities.
Based on TENAA listing, the HTC Desire 828 will feature a 5.5 inch display, similar to Desire 728, but with a higher resolution 1080 x 1920 pixels. Measuring 157.7 × 78.89 × 7.9 mm with 150g of physical weight, the phone will be available in White, Black, Red, Orange, Blue, Gray, and Gold colour options.
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-box, it is powered by an octa-core 1.5GHz processor (unknown chipset), coupled with 2GB of RAM. The HTC D828w packs 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card slot), a 13 megapixel primary camera, and a 4 megapixel front-facing shooter.
In terms of connectivity, the upcoming phone features 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS.
The pricing and availability details of the phone are yet to be revealed. Stay tuned for more updates.
