Just few days ago Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A8, the thinnest android phone till date measuring only 5.99 at the edge. China tops the list of the countries where the device would be released according to the date. Today Samsung has declared that the slender device will be launched in South Korea on July 24th.
Available through SKT in gold and white colors it will be prices at US$ 563. Featuring a 5.7inch Super AMOLED display it has a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels which works out to be 386ppi pixel density. Powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 615 SoC it has an octa-core 1.5GHz CPU and the Adreno 405 GPU. Galaxy A8 has 2GB of RAM inside along with 16/32GB of onboard storage which can be expanded upto 128GB through microSD slot.
Samsung Galaxy A8 sports a 16MP rear snapper with an f/1.9 aperture which allows users to take quality snapshots in less favorable lighting environment. A 5MP camera adorns the front of the device to click selfies and have video chats. Running on 3050mAh battery, it has Android 5.1 pre-installed with a fingerprint scanner entrenched in the home key. It is expected that the 16GB variant of the device will be priced US$ 515 and the 32GB will be tagged at US$ 564.
