Then new update for Verizon LG G3 should fix few of the problems of the Android 5.0 Lollipop from the previous update as it was full of bugs and technical issues.

The update is named version 24B (or VS98524B). Few changes in the update includes addition of new features such as a Bluetooth button to the in-call screen. Under the Quick Settings menu new options can be found like Sound notifications for events and messages based on priority, Interrupt feature from Lollipop implemented which allows notifications to be set completely off.

HD Voice and video calling features now have been enabled under the Advanced Calling settings, LTE video calling is automatically enabled only if the user has the service activated from the service provider.

The original Lollipop update of the Verizon LG G3 caused problems like random reboots, battery drain and WiFi instability among other issues. Strangely, the new fix does not state the list of bug fixes even in the change log, instead new features have been bundled with the update. So it is still unclear exactly which issues have been solved, it would have been so much better for the users if they released a comprehensive update i.e. bug fixes with the new Lollipop Android version 5.1.1. However, there is no word on the release of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update either.

Verizon LG G3 handsets soon would be getting the version 24B update via OTA and through their website. Visit www.vzw.com/lgg3update for instructions on how to download the update manually or look out for that OTA notification.
