A recently leaked report confirms that previously leaked Sony Lavender will be released to markets as Xperia T4 Ultra (E5503). Similar to last year’s Xperia T2 Ultra, this product will also be a cocktail between a smartphone and a tablet, or to be exact, a phablet with no bezel, actually it will be the first Sony device ever produced with a “bezel-free” design.
As of specifications, the Xperia T4 Ultra (E5503) will have a 5.5-inches Full HD screen instead of previously rumored 6 inch, and will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6752 chipset with processing speed of 1.7 GHz. There will be a 2-gigabytes worth of RAM and a 13-megapixels of primary camera.
Running Android 5.0 Lollipop, it will also have dual-SIM capability and probably support of 4G LTE connectivity.
Though there is no information yet about how much the Xperia T4 Ultra will cost, there are high chances that its price will fall in-between the range of $280 to $300 pretty much like the T2.
There is no trailer or introduction to this product yet, we are certainly excited to see where Sony will take this new smartphone to and whether or not this phone will worth all the secrecy and the expectations of Sony’s fans or else. But one thing for sure is that the question might be answered next month i.e. August.
