The Chinese company, Xiaomi, has announced a price cut of Rs. 2,000 for Redmi Note 4G in India. Currently, the phone was available for purchase at Rs. 9,999 via Flipkart and Amazon, which will now be available for just Rs. 7,999.

Launched in December last year, the Redmi Note 4G comes with a 5.5 inch HD IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset with 1.6GHz quad-core processor, and 2GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat with MIUI 5 on top. There is an 8GB of built-in storage (expandable up to 64GB), a 13 megapixel rear camera, a 5 megapixel selfie shooter, and a 3100mAh battery.
