In last few days, we have seen that Chinese smartphone makers are now more focused on battery capacity. Gionee recently launched Marathon M5 with 6,000mAh battery, Doogee S6000 is also coming with 6000mAh and vkworld VK6050 offers 6,050mAh capacity battery. Now another Chinese smartphone maker, Elephone, has launched its latest budget smartphone, dubbed Elephone P4000, with 4,400mAh battery. The smartphone is available for purchase in black and white colour options at company’s official store for the price of $129.99 (Rs. 8,251).
The company claims that P4000 will come with 5V2A quick charge technology to charge 75% battery in just 1.5 hours. Further, the battery will last for 15 hours of video, or 30 hours net surfing, or 50 hours of music play, or 40 hours call, or 330 hours of standby time.
Powered by MediaTek MT6735 chipset with 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core processor, the Elephone P4000 is equipped with 5 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It packs 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage (expandable up to 64GB), a 13 megapixel rear camera from Samsung and a 2 megapixel selfie shooter.
The P4000 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and includes, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS, and microUSB for connectivity. It measures 143.2 x 72.5 x 9.6mm and weighs 0.5kg.
