BlackBerry is currently going through hard time due to poor sale of its latest smartphones. The sales of the company has dropped all over the world and resulting it has announced job cuts last month. Now a latest report by ReCode reports that the Canadian company is planning to launch an Android based smartphone this fall, which could help the BlackBerry sales with some extent.
The report suggests that the slider phone (below image), which the company shown at MWC for the first time, will be an Android handset.
BlackBerry’s move for Android phone is aimed at promoting its cross-platform EMM (Enterprise Mobility Management) solution, dubbed BES12. It would definitely prove that the BES12 is not only able to manage but also secure the handsets running rival OS.
