Today Gionee at an event in Beijing announced the launch of its Elife E8 (most talked about smartphone) as per the news reported on May 27. Gionee Elife E8 will be available at a price of CNY 3,999 (Approx Rs. 40,000) and will hit the sheves of Chinese market from July 15.
Talking about specification, it is much better than expected with 23.7MP rear snapper which can produce lossless images upto 120MP. Gionee is now flaunting a six-element lens with sapphire glass and optical image stabilisation with 4K video recording with dual-tone LED flash. It will also feature a fingerprint scanner with an 8 MP selfie camera.
Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop Gionee Elife E8 will have Amigo 3.1 UI with dual-SIM capability and will support LTE connectivity also. Gionee Elife E8 has 6-inch QHD Super AMOLED display with 490ppi pixel density and measures 164.0 x 82.3 x 9.6mm and weighs 207g. It is powered by 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795) SoC and houses 3GB of RAM and 64GB native storage.
