LeEco has just introduced a new upgraded variant of its old model in the New year. As of now, this model was only available through brick and mortar stores, but now the same can be had via the online channel partner, Snapdeal.
The smartphone is available in Rose Gold color with a price of Rs 13,999. Other than the storage, everything remains the same. In case you can’t remember, the original variant of LeEco Le 2 was introduced with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The same is still available on Flipkart for a price of 11,999 Rupees.
LeEco Le 2 Specs and Features
For those who don’t know, we will quickly run through the specs sheet for the powerful budget offering. LeEco Le 2 sports a 5.5-Inch Full HD display with 1920 X 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core chipset and 3 Gigs of RAM. Internal storage of Le 2 is either 32 GB or 64 GB, depending on the variant you choose.
As for the camera is concerned, Le 2 comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It’s a dual-sim handset with EUI 5.8 on top of Android Marshmallow 6. Connectivity wise the smartphone features 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.1. All this is powered by 3000 mAh battery.
The smartphone comes with Type-C port and no headphone jack, meaning one port for all your needs. LeEco Le 2 initially faced quality concerns, but the company rectified them soon. Since then, the smartphone has given tough competition to the likes of Redmi Note 3 and Lenovo Vibe K5 Note.
With no micro-SD support, 32 GB internal storage always felt a little tied down, but the new variant addresses this concern. It will be interesting to see if the company can enjoy the same success as Le 1 and Le 1s.
