MacBook Pro 2016 is one of the most awaited laptops this year, and a lot of rumors have already predicted what the device will come with. However, we now have some news about the graphics chips that might be used by Apple in the upcoming 2016 MacBook Pro.

A report by WCCFTech claims that AMD secured an OEM design win last year, and if sources are to be believed, this was meant for Apple. The current MacBook Pro uses AMD graphics cards, as do the highest-end MacBook Pro and the 27-inch iMacs. While it is believed that the Polaris 10 is suited the best to iMacs, we could see the MacBook Pro 2016 models coming with Polaris 11.

The new AMD graphics chips will get a smaller 14nm FinFet architecture and will be twice as fast as their prequels. For those who don’t know, Apple has released new 12-inch MacBooks will better flash storage and CPUs, so we can surely expect the company to bring specs as high-end as possible in the new MacBook Pros.

Talking about the MacBook Pro 2016 release date, it is expected that the new devices will ship before this year’s fall starts. The most likely launch date is in June at the WWDC 2016 event, which is the best guess we can make.
