OnePlus 2 has been a successful phone just like its predecessor and is still selling like hot cakes. But it looks like OnePlus is keen on entering the premium-mid-range segment to compete directly with the likes of Xperia Compact phones. Remember about the rumoured OnePlus Mini we told you about? Well, the phone has just got closer to reality, but with a different name.
Allegedly, the OnePlus 2 Mini has passed through TENAA website, China’s regulatory agency. As per the TENAA listing, the phone carries the model number One E1000. The phone gets a 4.99-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920×1080. Powered by a 2.0GHz Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, the OnePlus 2 Mini carries 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal expandable storage. There’s a 13MP rear and an 8MP front camera, and the phone runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
As far as the measurements are concerned, the Mini gets dimensions of 140 x 69 x 6.9mm and weighs 138g. As far as the images allow us to guess, we think that the phone will get glass panels at the rear and front with a metal front on the sides, just like the OnePlus X.
The aforementioned specs surely contradict those found in the GFX Bench results of the OnePlus Mini. But as we all know, TENAA’s data is more reliable than benchmarks. So let’s wait and see when and how the OnePlus 2 Mini is launched.
