A couple of months ago, we had reported that UMI would be releasing the UMI Zero 2 with the world’s toughest bezels. With this new phone, the company definitely wants to steal attention and grow globally. Well, some new specifications for the phone have come out in the light and make the phone look all the more exciting.
As reported by PhoneArena, the UMI Zero 2 will be launched in Q2 of 2016. The phone will be sporting MediaTek’s upcoming flagship SoC called the Helio X20. Under the hood will be a deca-core (ten-core) processor. The display will be a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display from Samsung with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The pixel density will be a great 565ppi, thus making the phone one of the best in its segment in terms of display.
The UMI Zero 2 will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. A dual camera setup on the rear will help users change focal point of images after shooting. According to UMI, the Zero 2 will cost $299, which is a flagship killer price tag. If the phone does release with these specs and at this price, then the big boys of the industry have some reasons to fear the sales charts next year.
