#9: The Tomorrow Children
This stunningly bizarre, yet beautiful game comes to us from the developers of the PixelJunk games, in collaboration with the Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Studio. The game has been described as including Minecraft-inspired building mechanics while also incorporating social economics in a Soviet Union-themed post-apocalyptic setting. Apart from the stunning looking lighting system used in The Tomorrow Children, you can also expect deformable landscapes, which will make the game just as fun to break as it is to build.
Shown off at the Sony Gamescom conference in 2014, not much is known about the game, but it went through a public beta in Japan very recently, so development is certainly on track and a 2016 release is still likely. We hope to see more at E3 this year.
